Note: Cheats are untested. In the dark folder there is another folder named shell, go into it and go to the shellcfg.h, go into that and halfway between the middle and the bottom there is a place called // Mission menu buttons #define BTN_MISSION_COEFFICIENT 155 or 150 or something change that 150 or 155 to 157 like so // Mission menu buttons #define BTN_MISSION_COEFFICIENT 157 and VOILA!! you have level select for D.R. now go to the game and while you are in, go to start new game and go to the place where the level place is (you know where you get to select level 1 2 3.....etc) and you will find a CHEAT button on the bottom left corner of the menu and then you click on that and then you click on the mission and then you can select any mission you want!!!!!!! |

Another way of cheating at Dark Reign is to modify the .txt
files that contain weapon, building, and unit information. At the beginning of each file there is a brief outline of what the numbers mean (zB. Set offense). By modifying these numbers you can make a plasma tank with the damage potential of a sky fortress, for example. The only problem with this is that you make yourself vulnerable in certain situations...like in missions where you attack using the enemy's own weapons (such as mission 7 and the end game mission). So be careful! |
